TIPS:
1. Try taking the pictures under the natural sunlight to keep it's real
colour of the item.
2. Take pictures on a white background.
3. Mannequins are another way if you do not like posing. But if you can,
find a model to post for you to show how an item such as a dress
flows. I think it gives sort of a better imagination to the person who's
going/considering to buy an item.
4. Try keep hands and hair to the side or away from blocking the item
you are selling.
5. If you item has a lot details, take a close up picture on it.
DO NOT:
1. Take pictures from a reflection of a mirror.
2. In dark rooms.
3. Under yellow/dim lights.
4. Focus on the model's face, keep the focus to the items you are selling.
5. Resize the picture by making it smaller. Keep it as large as possible
for the buyers to see them clearly.
6. Photoshop your pictures too much to distort them or even make it
look better than it is in real life to make your item look like something
it's not.
Some of the blog shops that i think take awesome pictures are;
- French Kiss (Absolutely love their pictures. Always clear and
keeping the focus on the items and blurring out the backgroud.
- Se.xx.y (Pictures taken with a Plain White Background)
- Mezzanine (Very clear and detailed)
